The Best of the Web Reseller Program is an excellent way for Webmasters and Internet Marketing professionals to earn money while promoting their own websites in the Internet’s oldest directory or by referring customers through affiliate links. Upon joining the reseller program, partners immediately earn a 25% commission for all sales.
Affiliate Action :
You may put the BOTW links and banners on any relevant part of your web site. Obviously the more prominent placement of the links and banners will result in a larger amount of views and most likely a greater amount of commissions.
Best of the Web uses a secure cookie to track all users who click-through to BOTW. Using this cookie, we can match each referrer with your site domain or a unique tracking code.
Affiliate Tools :
When linking to Best of the Web online, you DO NOT need to embed an affiliate tracking code. Instead, you can simply add your site domain to our unique tracking system from within your BOTW Account Interface. To add your site domain to our affiliate tracking system, please sign in to your account and click "Linking to BOTW." Once you add your site domain, we will be able to recognize and commission your account for all click-through referrals.
I would rather use links with an affiliate tracking code. Where can I find these?
We have those too! In fact, you will need these if you plan on linking to BOTW from an email or other "offline" resources. To obtain your unique tracking code, please sign in to your account interface and select "Linking to BOTW." Your tracking code will be found at the bottom of the page.
How can I view my sales activity and commission?
Upon joining the program, you will be given a login and password to access the BOTW Reseller Interface
Payment :
Best of the Web will pay a 25% commission on ALL directory listing and sponsorship advertising products.
We will pay an annually recurring commission for each annually recurring listing AND we will also pay a monthly recurring commission for each referred sponsorship ad.
Once your Reseller account has a balance of $100 or greater, BOTW will mail a check or send payment electronically. Payment will be issued before the 10th day of the month.

Can I earn money for purchases I make?
Of course! You will receive commission for your purchase as long as you sign in to your account during the submission process - OR - make a purchase on BOTW after clicking on one of your affiliate links.
How do I earn money for purchases I make?
During the submission process for both listings and sponsorship ads, you will be prompted to sign in to your Reseller Account. Simply sign in when prompted and you will receive a commission for your purchase.
What if I operate multiple web sites (or domains)?
No problem! You have the option to track these separately or together. If you wish to track separately, you will need to register each web site (or domain) separately. This will enable you to view tracking reports and receive commission checks by web site (or domain). The other option is to register once and use the same links across your web sites (or domains).
Do I have to process the transactions on my web site?
No. All transactions are securely processed through the BOTW.org web site.
Can my website be hosted outside the United States?
Yes, we have no restrictions on where your website is hosted.
